Playing
for Pavel
Upon his passing, Jim had the idea to make
a recorded tribute to his beloved teacher, Pavel Melamed.
It allowed him to keep Pavel's spirit and energy within him
while preparing for the recording. Each piece was selected
because Jim studied it with Pavel, or the spirit of the music
evoked Pavel's memory.
